For accountancy practices

The advisory work your clients
keep asking for. Delivered behind you.

You already have the relationship and the trust. What you probably do not have is a management accountant sitting idle, waiting for enough advisory work to justify the salary.

Every practice knows the advisory work is there. Almost nobody can staff it.

A good management accountant costs real money and is hard to keep busy in a practice your size. So the work either gets squeezed in around compliance season, or it gets declined, or the client eventually goes looking and finds somebody who does it properly.

None of those is a good outcome. The third one is the expensive one, because they do not just take the advisory work.

You keep the client, the relationship and the fee. We are the bit you would otherwise have to recruit.

The arrangement, in one line

How the arrangement works

1

Your brand, or ours

Delivered white label behind your practice, or badged jointly if you would rather your client knew who is doing the work. Both arrangements exist and both work.

2

Non compete, in writing

We do not approach your clients, we do not sell them anything else, and it is in the agreement rather than in an assurance over coffee.

3

You own the relationship and the fee

You set the client price. We invoice you. The client stays yours in every sense that matters, including if this arrangement ever ends.

4

Start with one client

No minimum commitment and no exclusivity. Try it on the client who has been asking, see whether the work is good, then decide.

5

Qualified, regulated, signed

Chartered Management Accountants regulated directly by CIMA and AML supervised. Every output reviewed and signed by a qualified accountant, so your name is safe on it.

6

Whatever your clients do

Owner managed firms that sell time and expertise. Agencies and consultancies, surveyors, recruiters, solicitors. Different sectors, the same question underneath: which work actually pays, and what should we do about it.

A lit shop window at night on a quiet street

Your clients. Your relationship. Your fee. We are just the bit behind the door.

Why us

Why an accountancy practice would trust us behind their name

We are accountants, not a software company

A firm of Chartered Management Accountants regulated directly by CIMA, with an ACCA sister practice for statutory and tax. We understand what you are risking by putting somebody behind your brand.

We have run practices, not just worked in them

Our partner Reuben Glynn FCCA, KPMG trained, built and sold two professional services businesses. He has been the person deciding whether to outsource.

Corporate grade capability

Andrew built the £0.7 billion Openreach full fibre budget to CFO and CEO sign off and the cost forecasting model used nationally on the government funded programmes. That is the standard of work, applied to firms your clients' size.

Have a look at the detail

Tell us a little about the practice and we will send you the arrangement in plain English, including the non compete wording, and set up a call if it looks worth one.

We need the firm name.
And your name.
That does not look like an address we could reply to.

We use these details only to reply to you. We will not add you to a mailing list, we will not approach your clients, and we delete them after twelve months unless we end up working together.
