Deadline finder

When is your company's next deadline?

Type your company name or number. You will see when your accounts, confirmation statement and corporation tax are due, worked out from the Companies House register by the same rules we use for our own clients.

Nothing is needed from you but the company. No email, no sign up.

Deadlines are the floor, not the goal

We close our clients' months by the fifth working day and file year end accounts as early as is practical, because the figures are worth most while they are still fresh. If you would like that for your company, talk to us.

Common questions

When are a private limited company's accounts due at Companies House? Nine months after the end of the financial year. Where the year ends on the last day of a month, the deadline is the last day of the ninth month after it, so a 30 June year end gives 31 March. First accounts covering more than twelve months have their own rule: nine months from the first anniversary of incorporation, or three months after the period ends, whichever is later.

When is corporation tax paid? For most companies, nine months and one day after the end of the accounting period, so a 30 June year end pays on 1 April. The return itself, the CT600, is due twelve months after the period ends. Large companies pay in quarterly instalments instead.

When is a confirmation statement due? Within fourteen days of the end of each twelve month review period. The first review period starts on the day of incorporation; each later one starts the day after the last confirmation date.

Do I have to give my email to see the dates? No. The dates show straight away. Email reminders are optional: you confirm them from a link we send, and every reminder carries a one click unsubscribe.

Dates come from the public Companies House register and the rules in the Companies Act 2006 and the Taxes Management Act 1970. VAT, PAYE and self assessment dates depend on details the register does not hold, so they are not shown here. This is general information, not advice on your company's circumstances.
